Becky excels at visual storytelling that helps create a shared understanding of human needs and buy-in into the service vision.
She leads the creative and communication teams at Harmonic. Becky is passionate about diversity in the design field and actively participates in design education outreach in her local community. She sits on the advisory board of the College of Design at Georgia Tech, where she supports the College’s initiatives to improve design outreach and expand on a multidisciplinary practice
She is well-versed in design with a diverse background covering mobile, web, UX, exhibit design, data visualization, illustration, and graphic design. With a diverse work background from zoos to higher education to agencies, she has experience creating applications and services for primate and non-human primate users.
Mid-career, she returned to Georgia Tech for her master’s degree, focusing on animal-computer interaction, and published her work on orangutans and digital enrichment. Her side projects focus on the thread of her thesis, with a current digital art project with an orangutan at Oklahoma City Zoo. She is passionate about wildlife conservation, collecting chairs, live music, and giving a h*ck.
